Latest Results 2009 European F3 Open - Valencia - Race 1_5th (2nd B class) - Race 2_3rd (1st B class). Jonathan once again mounted the top step of the B Class podium with a fine run to 3rd overall in race two after what looked to be a struggling weekend for the 21 year old Bournemouth driver. The initial plans to run in the new generation Dallara F308 were scrapped after Jonathan was unable to find the finance to run in the European F3 Open Championship and having missed nearly all the pre season testing, jumping straight into an F306, a car he has never driven before, it looked dim from the start of testing with engine woes giving limited track time and no set-up was able to be performed. My Profile Jonathan Started karting at the age of 8 at Matchams near Bournemouth, racing against the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Paul Di Resta in the junior categories. Winning many races in cadets and Jica, Jonathan then made the step into European Karting, setting himself apart from the other British drivers to be top Brit in what would prove to be a very tough season while racing against people like Sebastien Vettel and Nico Hulkenburg.
